Dear colleagues, We are pleased to announce the Workshop on Citation Extraction and Parsing (CiteX 2026)<https://sites.google.com/view/workshop-on-citation-extractio/startseite?authuser=1>, which will take place on 28–29 May 2026 at the DIPF | Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. CiteX 2026 provides an interdisciplinary forum for researchers, developers, and practitioners working on the automated identification, structuring, and reuse of bibliographic references. The workshop fosters exchange on methodological and infrastructural advances in the field of open citation data — from traditional approaches and machine learning methods to applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
