Liebe Prototypler*innen, *(English version below)* am Montag ist es so weit - wir sehen uns in Berlin zum Demo Day, dem Abschluss eurer Runde! Wir freuen uns schon sehr auf eure Demos, Panels und Vorträge, und auch darauf, am Abend danach auf euch, eure Projekte und unsere sechsmonatige Zusammenarbeit anzustoßen :) Hier kommen die letzten wichtigen Informationen - das meiste haben wir schon kommuniziert, aber wir bitten euch, alles sorgfältig zu lesen, damit der Tag reibungslos verläuft: - Bitte seid alle sehr pünktlich da! Der Demo Day ist die einzige öffentliche Veranstaltung des Prototype Fund, und für eure Projekte und das Förderprogramm im Allgemeinen ist es wichtig für uns, dass das Event gut läuft. - *DEMOS*: Alle Teams, die Tische für Live-Demos haben, sind bitte bereits zwischen 9.30 und und 10 Uhr vor Ort, damit die Vorbereitungen durch sind, wenn die Gäste um 10.30 Uhr ankommen. Wenn ihr ankommt, meldet euch bitte kurz beim Tisch am Eingang an, dann kommt direkt zu uns (Marie & Marie-Lena), um euren Demo-Platz zu bekommen. Auch relevant: Wenn ihr ein Poster an die Wand hängen wollt, schickt uns bitte bis Freitag eine Mail, damit wir sicherstellen können, dass ihr einen Platz bekommt, an dem ihr ein Poster aufhängen könnt. First come, first served! - *BÜHNE*: Alle Projekte, die sich in Panels und Vorträgen vorstellen, kommen bitte zwischen 10.00 und spätestens 10.30 Uhr an. Wenn ihr ankommt, meldet euch bitte kurz beim Tisch am Eingang an, dann stellt ihr euch bei unserem Moderator Tobi vor. Für alle, die nicht beim Demo Day der 13. (oder ihr meldet euch kurz bei uns und wir stellen euch Tobi vor). - Falls ihr am Tag der Veranstaltung verspätet seid oder uns davor dringend erreichen müsst, könnt ihr Marie anrufen. Am besten nutzt ihr Signal (015223236156) und schickt davor eine kurze Nachricht. *WICHTIG*: Bitte ruft nur in wirklichen Notfällen und bei Verspätungen am Tag des Events an, das ist meine private Nummer, die ich ausnahmsweise für die Veranstaltung herausgebe. Alle anderen Fragen zum Demo Day klären wir per Mail oder auf Zulip. - FYI: Die *Frist für die Slides* für das Bühnenprogramm ist vorbei. Wer bis jetzt keine Folie geschickt hat, hat ausnahmsweise noch *bis heute, 14 Uhr* Zeit. Wer danach nichts geschickt hat, wird sich mit einem Platzhalter vorstellen. - Bis Sonntag können sich eure Projektpartner*innen, Communities, Familien und Friends noch für den Demo Day anmelden. Wir haben noch ein paar Plätze frei und freuen uns, wenn ihr für die Veranstaltung werben wollt: https://prototypefund.de/demo-day/ Last but not least: Bitte denkt daran, euch in dieser Woche auch zu entspannen und nicht zu viele Überstunden zu machen. Ein Event mit Projektvorstellungen kann stressig sein, aber niemand erwartet, dass eure Projekte nach nur 6 Monaten zu 100% perfekt sind. Der Prototype Fund ist dazu da, euch bei den ersten Schritten eures Projekts zu begleiten, und der Demo Day ist nur ein kleiner Schritt, bevor ihr sie weiter verbessern könnt :) Wir haben eure Fortschritte in den letzten Monaten aufmerksam mitverfolgt und sind uns sicher, dass es sehr gut laufen wird! We're really looking forward to your demos, panels and talks, and also to raising a glass to you, your projects and our 6-month collaboration in the evening afterwards :) Here come the last important bits of information - we've already communicated most of it, but we ask you to read everything carefully to make sure the day goes smoothly: - Please all be there on time! Demo Day is the Prototype Fund's only public event, and for your projects and the funding program in general, it is important to us that the event goes well. - *DEMOS*: All teams that have a booth for live demos, please be there between 9.30 and 10am, so that the preparations are done when the guests arrive at 10.30am. When you arrive, please check in briefly with at the desk at the entrance, then come directly to us (Marie & Marie-Lena) to get your demo spot. Also relevant: If you want to hang a poster on the wall, please email us before Wednesday so we can make sure you get a place to hang a poster. First come, first served! - *STAGE*: All projects presenting in panels and talks please be there between 10 and 10.30am at the latest. When you arrive, please register briefly at the table at the entrance, then introduce yourself to our moderator Tobi. It is best to use Signal (015223236156) and send a short message beforehand. *IMPORTANT*: Please only call in real emergencies and in case of delays on the day of the event, this is my private number which I give out exceptionally for the event. We'll sort out all other Demo Day issues by email or on Zulip. - FYI: The *deadline for the slides* for the stage programme was today, 11 am. Anyone who has not sent a slide so far can exceptionally send one *until today, 2 pm*. Otherwise you will introduce yourselves with a placeholder. - Until Sunday your project partners, communities, families and friends can still register for the Demo Day. We still have a few places available and would be happy if you would like to promote the event: https://prototypefund.de/en/demo-day/ - Last but not least: Please remember to relax this week and not to work too much overtime. A project presentation event can be stressful, but no one expects your projects to be 100% perfect after only 6 months. The Prototype Fund is there to support you in the first steps of your project, and the Demo Day is just a small step before you can improve them further :) We've been following your progress closely over the last few months and we're sure it will go very well!
