Mal auf der Suche nach tollen Freie- und Open-Source-Softwareprojekten mit gesellschaftlichem Mehrwert. Ihr kennt uns, ihr kennt das Förderprogramm aus eigener Erfahrung und bestimmt kennt ihr andere Entwickler*innen oder Kreative, die spannende Ideen in der Pipeline haben. Wir freuen uns deswegen sehr, wenn ihr unsere Ausschreibung teilt und Freund*innen, Bekannte oder Kolleg*innen in eurem Umfeld zu einer Bewerbung ermutigt. Dafür könnt ihr gern den untenstehenden Text verwenden. Genauso sehr freuen wir uns übrigens, wenn ihr euch selbst mit einer neuen Idee bewerbt! März 2024* *auf **prototypefund.de** bewerben!* Der Prototype Fund unterstützt einzelne Entwickler*innen und kleine Teams dabei, ihre innovativen Projektideen vom Konzept bis zum Prototypen umzusetzen. *Wir fördern Open-Source-Software aus der Gesellschaft und für die Gesellschaft* mit Mitteln des Bundesministeriums für Bildung und Forschung: Mit bis zu 47.500 € pro Projekt sowie Coachings, Vernetzung und Beratung unterstützen wir *innovative Ansätze mit gesellschaftlichem Mehrwert* aus den Bereichen Datensicherheit, Software-Infrastruktur, Data Literacy und Civic Tech. Einen guten Überblick über alles, was möglich ist, geben die *340** bisher geförderten Projekte.* Der Förderzeitraum startet am 1. September 2024. Wir ermöglichen eine niedrigschwellige Förderung, damit Ideen für innovative Open-Source-Software erprobt und umgesetzt werden können. Deshalb gibt es nur wenige *Voraussetzungen für die Förderung*: - Bewerber*innen sind Einzelentwickler*innen oder Teil eines Teams (keine Unternehmen, Vereine, Institutionen o. Ä.). - Die Idee ist ein Software-Projekt (Hardware-Projekte sind nicht förderfähig). - Bewerber*innen sind volljährig. - Bewerber*innen haben einen Wohnsitz in Deutschland und zahlen ihre Steuern hier.
