Liebe Prototypler*innen, (English version below) Wie ihr vielleicht schon gelesen habt, wird am Freitag bis 14 Uhr bei der BVG gestreikt. Für einige von euch wird die Anreise zum Demo Day dadurch etwas komplizierter als geplant. Die BVG ist in Berlin für U-Bahnen, Straßenbahnen und Busse zuständig. Die S-Bahn gehört zur Deutschen Bahn und wird nicht bestreikt. Leider sind in unserem Budget keine Mittel für Taxifahrten vorgesehen. Um die Kosten so gering wie möglich zu halten, bitten wir euch daher, mit der S-Bahn bis zum nächstgelegenen Bahnhof zu fahren. Ab S-Bahnhof Warschauer Straße oder Ostbahnhof können wir die Kosten für Taxi/Uber oder Carsharing übernehmen. Bitte schickt uns bis spätestens Dienstag eine kurze Mail, ob ihr das in Anspruch nehmen wollt, damit wir die Kosten einplanen und euch das separate Formular für die Taxifahrt zuschicken können. Wenn ihr als Team anreist, koordiniert euch bitte innerhalb eures Teams: Wir übernehmen eine Taxifahrt pro Team. Ohne vorherige Absprache übernehmen wir keine Taxikosten. Falls ihr nicht mit der S-Bahn anreisen könnt (z.B. weil euer Hotel zu weit von der S-Bahn-Station entfernt ist), schickt uns bitte eine Mail (bis Dienstag). Wir werden dann gemeinsam eine Lösung finden. Wir bitten euch, bei der Planung solidarisch zu sein und die Kosten so gering wie möglich zu halten. Wenn ihr ein Hotel in der Nähe des Veranstaltungsortes habt, kommt bitte zu Fuß. Für die Rückfahrt vom Veranstaltungsort übernehmen wir keine Taxikosten - dann fährt wieder die U-Bahn. Denkt daran, dass es an diesem Tag schwierig sein wird, ein freies Taxi zu finden. Es ist wahrscheinlich eine gute Idee, im Voraus zu buchen. Auch für die Fahrt mit der S-Bahn solltet ihr genügend Zeit einplanen. Die Züge werden sehr voll sein. For some of you, this will make getting to Demo Day a little more complicated than planned. BVG is in charge of subways, tramways and buses in Berlin. We will not cover cab costs for the return journey from the venue - the subway will be running again. Remember that it will be difficult to find a free cab on the day. It is probably a good idea to book in advance. You should also allow enough time for the journey on the S-Bahn. The trains will be very full.
