Am Dienstag den 14.11. findet von 14:00 bis 15.30 Uhr das Gründungsseminar
mit unsere Coachingpartner VDI/VDE statt.
In diesem Seminar geht es darum, die Grundlagen von Gründungen und
Geschäftsmodellen zu verstehen und weitere Ideen zu bekommen, wie ihr eure
Projekte langfristig finanzieren könnt. Wir wissen natürlich, dass
Gründungen nicht für alle Projekte der richtige Weg sind, deshalb ist
dieses Seminar optional. Aber auch wenn ihr nicht gründen wollt, seid ihr
herzlich eingeladen, an diesem Seminar teilzunehmen und zu lernen.

1. How to start a business with VDI/VDE
On Tuesday, November 14th, from 2 to 3.30 p.m., an introduction to starting
a company in Germany will take place with our coaching partner VDI/VDE.
This seminar is about understanding the basics of companies and business
models and getting more ideas on how to finance your projects in the long
term. Of course, we know that starting a company is not the best option for
all projects, so this seminar is optional. But even if you don't want to
start a business, you are welcome to join this seminar and learn.

1. Gruppencall (verpflichtend)
Der erste Gruppencall wird wie geplant am Montag 16.10. um 14 Uhr
stattfinden. Wir wollen uns mit euch austauschen und euch die Gelegenheit
geben, euch besser kennenzulernen, gegenseitig zu unterstützen und
voneinander zu lernen.
Es dürfen alle Teammitglieder teilnehmen, mindestens aber eines sollte
dabei sein. Falls ausnahmsweise kein Teammitglied aus einem Projekt
teilnehmen kann, meldet euch bitte so früh wie möglich bei uns.
Wie?
In jedem Gruppencall werden 5-6 Projekte ihre Arbeit vorstellen. Die
Projekte, die das nächste Mal präsentieren, sind:
- drip
- Praxisabrechnung - Krankheitsabrechnung zurück in Ärztinnenhand
- Oh My Git! 2.0 im Browser
- RoaringRoster
- Streamlining Qubes OS Device Management
- Urban Analyst
Keine Panik! Ihr müsst nichts vorbereiten: Es geht beim Call darum, einen
Überblick über euren aktuellen Stand zu geben und über euer Projekt zu
sprechen, ohne dass ihr euch dafür zusätzliche Arbeit machen müsst.
Jedes Projekt bekommt maximal 4 Minuten Zeit für die Vorstellung. Zeigt uns
einfach spontan, was ihr bereits habt: Ein einfacher Rundgang durch eure
bestehende Software, Design-Mockups, Screenshots und andere visuelle
Beispiele aus eurem Arbeitsprozess sind z. B. großartig! Und weil wir
wissen, dass noch nicht jede*r funktionierende Software und fertige Designs
hat: Keine Angst, wir erwarten keine fertig gestellten Demos, ein
Zwischenstand reicht vollkommen!

Ein paar kleine Regeln gibt es im Chat zu beachten:
- Gebt euch einen verständlichen Namen (am besten Vorname oder Nickname +
Projekttitel)
- Mikrofon bitte muten, wenn ihr nicht sprecht – es kann immer nur eine
Person verständlich reden.
- Wir bitten euch, vorher sicher zu stellen, dass BigBlueButton bei euch
gut funktioniert. Wir werden für technische Hilfe schon ein paar Minuten
eher da sein. Während des Calls können wir euch leider nicht bei
technischen Problemen helfen, weil wir uns auf die Moderation konzentrieren.

1. Group call (compulsory)
The first group call will take place as planned on Monday 16.10. at 2pm. We
want to discuss with you and give you the opportunity to get to know each
other better, to support each other and to learn from each other.
All team members are welcome to participate, at least one team member
should be present. If exceptionally no team member from a project can
participate, please contact us as early as possible.
How?
In each group 5-6 projects will present their work. The following projects
will present themselves during the next call:

Don't panic! You don't have to prepare anything: The point of the call is
to give an overview of your current status and talk about your project
without having to do any extra work.
Each project gets a maximum of 4 minutes to present. Simply show us
spontaneously what you already have: a simple tour through your existing
software, design mockups, screenshots and other visual examples from your
work process are great, for example! And because we know that not everyone
has working software and finished designs yet: Don't worry, we don't expect
finished demos, an intermediate state is perfectly fine!

There are a few small rules to follow in the chat:
- Give yourselves an understandable name (preferably first name or nickname
+ project title).
- Please mute the microphone if you are not speaking - only one person can
speak intelligibly at a time.
- We ask you to make sure that BigBlueButton works well for you. We will be
there a few minutes early for technical assistance. During the call, we
will not be able to help you with technical problems, as we will be
concentrating on moderation.
