Die Collaborations Workshop Serie ist eine sehr schöne Veranstaltungsreihe bei der es um das Thema Forschungssoftware geht. Der Workshop richtet sich aber nicht nur an Entwickler, sondern alle die mit Forschungssoftware in Berührung kommen. Nach einiges Jahren aus der Teilnehmer- und Vortragendenrolle, bin ich dieses Jahr Teil des Programmkomitees. Vielleicht ist das ja auch was für den ein oder anderen auf dieser Liste.

Collaborations Workshop 2021 (CW21) will take place online from Tuesday, 30 March to Thursday, 1 April 2021 and we are seeking proposals for participant-led mini-workshops and social programme activities!

Are you interested in running a 30-minute session to demonstrate a particular software product, approach or standard? Deliver specific training or an interactive tutorial? Conduct information gathering or explore a topic? Or do you have an idea for a conference networking or social activity? The deadline for submissions is 31 January 2021.

The Software Sustainability Institute’s Collaborations Workshop series brings together researchers, developers, innovators, managers, funders, publishers, policy makers, leaders and educators to explore best practices and the future of research software. The themes of the CW21 keynote presentations, discussion groups, mini-workshops, collaborative ideas, and hack day will be FAIR Research Software, Diversity and Inclusion, and Software Sustainability.

Registration is open and financial assistance is available to help those who need support to participate, from covering the cost of registration to childcare.
