Liebe Kolleg:innen,
am 30.06.2025 organisierte das Projekt PID Network Deutschland, an dem auch das Helmholtz Open Science Office beteiligt ist, das Online-Seminar "PIDs für Software". Dabei beleuchteten wir verschiedene Aspekte hinsichtlich der Dokumentation und Nutzung von Software. Neben einer Einführung in nationale und internationale Initiativen zum Umgang mit Forschungssoftware, ging es auch um praktische Herausforderungen und Lösungsansätze.

Dear colleagues,
on June 30, 2025 the project PID Network Germany, in which the Helmholtz Open Science Office is also involved, organized the online seminar "PIDs for Software". We highlighted various aspects regarding the documentation and use of software. In addition to an introduction to national and international initiatives for dealing with research software, we also looked at practical challenges and possible solutions.
